Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold (Proverbs 3:13, 14 NLT).

Wisdom is learning how to apply the knowledge learned in the Bible. Wisdom teaches you not only what to do, but when to do it. There is a right way and right time for everything.
For example, a bill is due on the 28th. The foolish person pays the bill on the 29th. The wise person pays the bill on 27th. Both of them committed the same act, but, at different times.
The foolish person paid the bill late and incurred interest charges. Have you ever felt like you did the right thing like everyone else, but weren't enjoying the same benefits? Perhaps, the timing was not right.
Not only does wisdom teach us the right action at the right time, but with the right method. How did the foolish person and wise person pay the bill? Did the foolish person use a paper check via USPS which is like snail mail? Or did they use an electronic method?
Wisdom teaches us the right action in the right method at the right time with the right people and right motives.
