Correction

My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you (Proverbs 3:11 NLT)

Would you allow your beloved dog to run into traffic? Would you not punish the dog, so it won't repeat the same action?

God's punishment is a form of love and protection. It hurts in the moment, but it is for our eternal good. God sees today and tomorrow.

Some of our behavior and attitudes won't do well in where God wants to take us. He must discipline us, so we will take the necessary action to change.

Accept God's discipline. Learn from the consequences.
