Curse of the Lord

The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked, But He blesses the home of the just (Proverbs 3:33 NKJV)

God is not a genie who is here to serve us and grant every wish. We were created to serve God. When we make decisions that go against God's Word, then there will be consequences. Maybe not today or tomorrow. But soon, there will be consequences.

Wickedness doesn't pay in the long run. How many times would you let your spouse cheat on you without any consequences? Would your spouse stop mistreating you without consequences? How many times should God let you disrespect Him? We were made in the image of God.

God blesses our home when we do what is right. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but there is a blessing on the way. We reap what we sow.
