8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

APPLICATION
Correct your thinking! Fix your thoughts! Don't focus on the pain, disappointment, or anger, but on the things you know to be true. What is true? Every Word of God.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. The same God who created the Heavens, Earth, stars, and oceans created you.
You are a child of God.
You are valuable and precious to God!
You are accepted and without fault to God!
You are loved by God!
You are forgiven by God!
Think about what is honorable, right, pure, and lovely. Think about things that are admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise.
Focus on what God is doing in your life. How has God blessed you? Do you have food and water? Do you have good health? Were you able to pay your rent? Do you have a bed? Do you have a blanket? What about a car? Do you have gas to put in the car?

PRAYER
Dear God, thank you for this day. Thank you for your wisdom that we cannot do anything without you. Please help us at work, school, and with our daily responsibilities. We thank you and we surrender our lives to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
