And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all—the living and the dead. He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.” Acts 10:42-43 NLT
Everyone who BELIEVES in Him will have their sins forgiven through His name. Just believe. Jesus is simple. No fluff or long list of requirements. He isn’t like us. Just believe in Jesus. Believe in the power of His name and your sins will be forgiven.
Dear Father, thank you for loving us to die for our sins. We don’t deserve you, but you love us anyways. Help us in our disbelief to trust that you are our God and you will make a way where there seems to be no way. We confess that we our sinners and we ask for your forgiveness and strength as we try to repent. In Jesus’ name. Amen
