Sweet as Honey

For the lips of an immoral woman are as sweet as honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil. But in the end she is as bitter as poison, as dangerous as a double-edged sword (Proverbs 5:3-4 NKJV).

All sin is attractive and desirable. If sin was undesirable or unattractive, then humans wouldn't be tempted.

It seems harmless to flirt with that married co-worker. Eventually, the attraction grows and grows. The forbidden fruit tastes sweet. The climax in this story isn't ectasy, but a broken marriage and shame. The forbidden fruit looks good and tastes sweet for about 2 seconds until you are hit with the bitter consequences.

The human race is still reeling from the actions of Eve. Eve couldn't control herself and, now, generation after generation of children are paying the price for one person's sin.

Your sin not only affects you, but other people.
