Be careful about what comes out of your mouth. There is power of life and death in the tongue. Speak good things and good things will happen. Speak bad things and bad things will happen.
Speak life and reap the benefits of an abundant life.
Speak death and reap the benefits of a dark life.
Ask God for wisdom before speaking. What would God say about the words coming from your mouth? Are you gossiping? Are you being negative towards yourself or others? Is what you are saying true?
Think before you speak because there may be different perspectives on the matter. Look to the interests’ of others before speaking. Remember, we are each walking through own daily struggle.
PRAYER
Jesus, thank you for your Word. Forgive us for the times we said not so kind things to other people. Give us discernment when to speak and when to be silent. We trust your Word as everything in your Word proves true. Please be with us this day and give us your strength and endurance to do your Will. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
